Congratulations and thank you to the Domingo Carrion family for hosting the 2016 family reunion. The children's games, decorations, food, talent show, raffles, and presentations were excellent.  My favorite was the memorial rocks painted by Maria. A very talented artist.   I placed my parents rock next to the Virgin Mary in my garden.  A big thank you to Ray and his band and Carlos for providing the entertainment. Nothing like live music. Would love to see them at the 2018 reunion. I know my tio Domingo was so proud of his kids and family. Plus, he had a birthday celebration. 90 years young. He is blessed. Everyone that attended had a blast. God bless you all and job well done. I know the hard work and dedication that goes into the preparations.  Lastly, Congratulations to the recipients of the Pilar and Hermognes Carrion Memorial Scholarship. Thalia Cintron and Andrew Alvarez. Both received $1000.00 each. A big thank you  to all the family members that donated for the scholarship. We could have not made awards without your generosity.  MUCHAS GRACIAS! God bless you and love you all.  God willing, see you in the 2018 reunion hosted by the Genaro Carrion family. Familia, what beautiful memories were created at this year's family reunion that will be cherished for a lifetime especially through the beautiful pictures posted on this website.  A very special thanks to Dali and her team of volunteers that worked so hard to make this event so special.  I know that Fernando is very proud of his "clan" for taking on the very challenging responsiibility of being the "host family" for this year's reunion.  He loved family so much and I know that there was no better way to celebrate his life than for all of the family to gather together and simply have fun.  At the same time, we are reminded that life is precious and that we need to take advantage of every opportunity to share our love, faith, joy and hope with each other because each of us are here for a limited time and it goes by faster than anyone of us would like.

On behalf of my mom and dad, Pilar and Hermogenes,  and the entire 14 Strong brothers and sisters, I thank all who attended and pray that those who could not join us this year will be able to do so in 2016.  God Bless!  Uncle Louie
